The following shows all the photographs which were taken as part of the overall project; ranging from all the experimental images to photographs taken as part of the brief. All of these images have not been edited, but some were considered to be used as part of the final assortment of photographs- this process, and why they weren’t included will accompany the specific image.
Some of my favourite images from the ones taken include the games console control resting at the side of the body of water and Josh sat in the centre of the open area pretending to play on a games console while the world around him continues on. If I were to have chosen the Contemporary Youth brief, I would have submitted this as my final piece as it represents to me youth of today; so caught up in technology that they fail to live in the moment and see things through their own eyes.
The session looking at the opposite of faith- science, was hugely beneficial that produced some wonderful images thanks to the props involved. Macro techniques were used to make for a more interesting composition and intensify the colours of the liquids that were held in the test tubes particularly. One of those images was going to be part of my final choices (the macro shot of the orange and blue liquid in the test tubes) but after considering it against the brief, I felt it didn’t closely connect with my idea.
