Denbighshire

The uniqueness of this religious building allowed for some truly great photographs. The scale of the tower and the stonework along it made high angle shots work well. A shot that didn’t work as well as I would have like was the images of the graves; as it was situated so close to the road, a good composition was hard to capture.

The use of balance was used a lot thanks to the gargoyles and various objects found in the church that had interesting backdrops thanks to placing the focus off-centre. One of the images taken of a gargoyle will be carried over and worked on in my final images.
